This is an attempt to understand what is going on in the supernatural realm.
We do not see angels, nor hear them, nor even know exactly who they are, or if they even exist.
This page will explore the phenomenon of angels, including with special affection the guardians of human beings, called "guardian angels" using human experience as the material to be studied.
Who is the angel Uriel? How does Uriel engage with our history? Why is he less well known than other archangel figures?
Interestingly, the translation of Uriel, an ancient Hebrew word meaning God is my Light, is the motto of Oxford University, where JRR Tolkien taught ancient languages and literature for many years. (is this accurate)
Is it scandalous to suggest that Uriel inspired Tolkien's beautiful angelic (and musical) vision of the creation of Paradise?
Faith and reason have been separated for a long time in a forced and unnecessary way.
There is no reason to suppose that someone who believes in God is less educated, or or superstitious.
